Testimonials
Hi Diane,
We are so happy with Rosie (formerly Brandy) our new Papillon puppy. We were a little hesitant to pick a puppy online but after talking with Diane we were more comfortable. Since she was a Chrismas present it was so nice of you to send an updated picture before the holiday so we could show her to her new mom. She was thrilled Santa was getting her a baby of her own. We came to visit her at 5 weeks of age. We were impressed with the kennel, it was clean and all the dogs looked great. We got to meet her mom and dad. If we could of we would have taken her brothers and sister too (lol). Everyone we met was very nice. We even got to watch a puppy being born. At 7 weeks we came back to get her. She had a bath and the paper work went quick. We took Rosie to our vet and she was given a clean bill of health. He was impressed at how healthy and happy she was. She is now almost 11 weeks old and weighs 3 pounds(hopefully you can open the attachment). She is happy and healthy and very spoiled. We have two older papillons and Rosie just follows them around. We think she is the smartest puppy we ever had. We would highly recommend The Happy Woofer to any one looking to add to thier family . Over all it was a great experience.
Thanks so much,Peggy McAlister and family

Jack Russell
Group |
Terrier |
Origins |
England |
Height |
12 - 14 inches |
Weight |
13 - 17 lbs. |
Color |
White with black, tan or lemon or solid white. |
Coat |
There are two varieties. The Jack Russell Terrier can be either smooth-haired or rough-haired. They are usually white with tan, black, or lemon, or with markings in three colors. Markings restricted to the head and base of the tail are preferred. |
Character |
This dog is brave (sometimes excessively so), boisterous, watchful, a self-starter, and very self-confident. |
Temperament |
This dog gets along well with children, other dogs, and any household pets. It is however, still a hunting dog, so it sometimes can't resist the urge to chase the family cat. It may try to be dominant over other dogs, regardless of size. Visitors will always be announced with a distinctive bark. |
Care |
During shedding, remove dead hairs with a rubber brush. Occasionally, the coat of the rough-haired variety will need to be plucked. |
Activity |
This breed has a seemingly inexhaustible supply of energy. It must be given many opportunities to burn it off. It needs to run and play, and enjoys agility skills and playing catch. Digging is among its favorite activities. It is happiest on a farm or a home with a large backyard where it can frolic. |
Description |
Perhaps most famous as the actor on "Wishbone" (the children's PBS series), the Jack Russell Terrier or Parson Jack Russell Terrier is a small, agile, brave animal. These terriers are good at hunting small animals like foxes and raccoons. Like other terriers they need activity or may become bored and invent their own entertainment. They need room to run and play. Being confined in an apartment is not recommended. Jack Russells are clean and very trainable little dogs. |
